And then, there was 2015. Happy to begin. Happy to replace
the previous year. You're welcome, with reservations though. The euphoria is at
its peak for you, but you know, the downside is still ever constant, obvious
and practical. Take a leaf from 2014, it had its good and its bad, but to be
realistic it had its good and its worse. Do I expect any different from you,
2015? That's left to see. The realism of the times we live in is catching up on
people, and they accept the incoming year with mixed feelings. High optimism
was shattered, or should I say people are more aware that "you don't
necessarily get what you wish for." The fanfare, though still high and
reasonably normal, is just a facade, a mask to hide the scepticism of what you
hold, 2015. The speed of time is gradually increasing, but they say it's
because we're growing old. What we're sure of is that a new year is here and it
would swish by and we are scared, and rightly so. One request, 2015, don't
leave me worse than I already am, if you won't make me better.

Everyday
Everyday there is a new lesson to learn
A new mystery just around the corner
A new point of reference,
In the stream of time, forever
A masterpiece of creation and artistic achievement of intelligence
But most of all, a chance to adjust the eventualities of future days to be upon us

The New Device
At a new launching,
we see a new device. A device supposed to make life easier, and the stress of
it reduced. But time is the only assured and certain determinant of outcome, as
people usually say "Time will tell" like time is a teller of fortune
hoped for or doom dreaded. Should the tug of impulse push you to get a new
device, whether it is needed or "needed"? Or should the apparent
upgrade in the new version from the obsolete version of just last year be the
reason?
Is it worth incurring
extra cost which practically may be unnecessary, to get that new device, when
there is no functional or even manufacture anomaly in the one you have? Oh, or
is it just to fit in, to "feel among"?
Think About It!!!
Your Last Day
If today was your last day. What would you do? Would you
have regrets? Would you feel fulfilled? I wish I could pick the latter.
If today was your last day. Would you call those that never
shared your love for them, and tell them how you feel, because you've got
nothing more to lose? Would you go on a rampage and attack all those you never
saw eye to eye with?
If today was your last day. Would you spend the day alone thinking
about how the life of those you leave behind would change for the worse (or the
better), upon your demise? Would you go around apologizing to all your stand
ups and break ups?
If today was your last. Would you eat all you can, because
for crying out loud, your life is ending tomorrow? Would you go all ascetic?
If today was your last. Would you go to that edge that fear
of death has always prevented you from going? Would you do that evil, that
sanity has always held you back from doing? Would you....
